Download Stow from the App Store or Google Play and follow the on-screen sign-up instructions.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from any of the desktop, Android, or iOS apps:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Manage Profile
  3. Click Delete Profile
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently removed.

Saving & Reading

How do I save an article?

From your browser or any app, tap Share and choose Stow from the share sheet. The article is added to your reading queue automatically. You can also paste a link directly into the app.

Does the reader really remove ads?

Yes — Stow's reader view extracts the article's text and images and displays them on a clean page, leaving ads, pop-ups, and site clutter behind.

Can I read offline?

Once an article is saved, its text is stored on your device so you can read it even without a connection.

Deleting Data

How do I delete a saved article?

Open the article you want to remove, tap the menu icon (three dots), and select Delete Article. Confirm the deletion when prompted. This removes the article from your saved list but will not affect your account or other data.

How do I clear my reading queue?

Go to your Reading Queue, tap the menu icon at the top of the list, and select Clear All. To remove a single item, swipe left on it and tap Delete.

Will deleting data affect my account?

No — deleting saved articles or clearing your queue only removes that specific data. Your account, profile, and all other saved content remain intact.

Features

Can I organize my saved articles?

Yes — mark articles as favorites and archive the ones you've finished to keep your reading queue tidy.

Can I share an article with a friend?

Yes — use the share button on any saved article to send its original link via text, email, or social media.
